Zaid Farooqui, a UNC-Chapel Hill student and budding entrepreneur, created Blinkness.com to satisfy a need he perceived in the UNC community: the need for easy access to accurate grade histories for UNC professors and courses. Zaid came to UNC’s student-run advertising agency, Heelprint Communications, for help in promoting the site. As one of Heelprint’s graphic designers, I took on the challenge of spreading the word about his great service. These flyers were created to serve that purpose, presenting the features of the site in a clean, attractive layout. I wrote the headlines and copy to appeal to frustrations that students often face when choosing courses.
