Founded in 1977, Kadey-Krogen Yachts is one of the oldest manufacturers of trawler yachts in the U.S. A defining feature of the company’s hand-built yachts is the Pure Full Displacement hull, a hull design that provides a smooth and safe ride and better fuel economy than most other trawler yachts on the market. To illustrate the benefits of the Pure Full Displacement Hull to potential customers, I created a 3D animation comparing Kadey-Krogen’s Pure Full Displacement hull to competitive hull forms.
